「わたしを街につれていって」　西インド・ラージャスターンの農村に暮らす、大道芸人一家の少女テージュ。都会に行くことを夢見ている。

本書『DRAWING FROM THE CITY (街の絵)』 初版は2012年刊行、シルクスクリーン印刷でつくられた本だったが、2017年、本文をリソグラフ印刷、表紙はハンドメイドの普及版として再版された。大豆インク使用。

<リソグラフとは>
リソグラフ は、プリントゴッコなどで知られる理想科学工業が1973年から販売している簡易印刷機。 謄写版メーカーだった理想科学工業の技術が生かされており、製版された原紙をドラムに巻きつけて単色で印刷する。印刷方式としてはシルクスクリーンなどと同じ孔版印刷に分類される。大型のコピー機のような見た目で、製版から印刷まで高速・低コストで行える。
欧米ではリソグラフ印刷でつくった絵本を刊行する出版社もあり、プロのグラフィックアートにも使われるなど人気が高い。日本では「レトロ印刷」とも呼ばれる。

This new edition of Drawing from the City is one of Tara’s new experiments with the Risograph, an eco-friendly printing system. Riso printing combines the technology of screen-printing and a photocopier machine, and uses organic, soy-based inks, resulting in a unique textural experience.
