水の生きもの

ミティラー画の手法を取り入れ、独自の解釈で水の生きものを描いた作品。作者の生まれ育ったガンジス川のほとりの生きものから、見たことのないものまで、繊細なタッチでいきいきとていねいに描き出される。2012年ボローニャ・ラガッツィ賞(ニュー・ホライズン部門)優秀賞受賞作品。
